EuroRegio Ukraine, Institute for Regional an Euro-Integration Studies, is looking for Project Officer
The Project Officer (PO) will assist the Project Manager in carrying out the management of projects. His or her role will be to undertake the day-to-day coordination of projects. This will include conducting research, supporting the development of project work plans, editing and reviewing deliverables, and coordinating professional assignments. The PO will have excellent written and verbal English language communication skills. Programmatic knowledge in key project area – regional policy and regional development – is a strong plus. He or she should also have a graduate degree. In addition, the PO must be well organized, flexible, have good communication skills and be able to work well in a team-based dynamic environment. Experience of work in international projects is a plus. Responsibilities include: Providing hands-on support and advice to project participants and sharing lessons learned; Support in the monitoring of project operations and in project planning, analysis and reporting; Communication with key partners and ensuring that project documentation is distributed appropriately; Making appropriate arrangements for briefings and orientations; Monitoring, collecting and distributing emerging research that is relevant to project management and implementation; Developing and accumulating other material and documentation associated with project activities and maintaining a resource library (and project website); Review, edit and format project deliverables and/or reports; Assisting in the recruitment and selection of specialized experts in Ukraine; Support in the coordination and mobilization of various capacity development initiatives, such as study tours, workshops etc; Maintain network of Ukrainian organizations; and Other duties as assigned.
